Our Team

He has been an active professional in the Central Pennsylvania insurance community since 1989 and is able to draw on this extensive experience to provide clients with innovative solutions with a “personalized, hands on approach”. Gerry is an instrument rated private pilot who enjoys flying for business and personal enjoyment since 1999. He is also a 2nd degree Black belt in Taekwondo. He has been married to wife, Yvette since 1984 and has 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren. Gerry has also recently published his first book – “Setting a True Course- Flight Plans for Life” – and is excited to share his work with his clients and community!

Emily has been an active part of Wevodau Insurance since its founding in 2006 and joined full-time in 2015. She became co-owner of the business in 2017. Emily works to manage and develop the business while she continues to serve clients with a proactive approach. In 2017 she earned her LUTCF designation. Emily has been married to her husband, Roy, since 2015, has a stepdaughter, Ava, and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family outdoors hiking or by the pool.

Gretchen joined the Wevodau Team in 2019. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and Central Penn College with degrees in the Health Sciences. Gretchen has had various professional experiences throughout her life which have led her to discover a passion for helping people problem solve in order to achieve their goals. She also has a passion for physical fitness and leads several group fitness classes a week in her spare time.

Gretchen has two children, and her absolute favorite pastime is cheering from the sidelines at their children’s various sporting events.

April joined the Wevodau Team in 2021. She was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where she currently resides with her husband and family dog Jax. Life has lead April to take her skill set of finance, communication and employee relations to the insurance industry. April enjoys visiting her daughter and son in Pittsburgh where she also gets to spend time with her granddaughter. She also loves working in her garden, hanging at the pool, and making homemade pizzas.

Yvette actively joined Wevodau Insurance in the summer of 2018, but you could say she has been with the agency ‘since the beginning’. She has been married to founder, Gerry Wevodau, since 1984 and they have three adult children together with 2 grandchildren. Yvette provides client servicing assistance to the office, along with administrative support.

You can find her scrapbooking, sewing or cake decorating when not working or doing activities with her family. She also enjoys camping regularly with her husband, going to the beach, and anything purple.
